the other day I overstood the concept of skanking by suddenly realising I was doing it courtesy of this track:

FUUUUUAAAAA! it had me gasping for breath and violently happy so I went on and stole the whole album. I'm not proud of it I don't much like stealing music any more - there's still no way round it for someone like me (stay poor or die trying) - so I will spend the little money I get beyond the necessary survival minimum (when I get some which doesn't happen much, right now the NSM itself is touch and ...RUN!) on music, no two ways about it, but it's an addiction, so at hard times like these I will steal.

least I can do under the circumstances is to report that the whole album is genre-bending, lyrically tight, and I mean tight, extreme gymnastics provoking dope. there is no single track on it I don't love. If I get to hear any of this dopeness on a proper soudsystem I promise I put my motherfacking hands in the air jus as I'm told. I don't do that often dontchano.

Sleepin Giantz is a dream (far as I'm concerned) collab between Manchester's master breakbeat garage/dubstep producer and remixer Zed Bias, the legend of british hip hop and lyrical genius London Possie's Rodney P and the UK grimy hip hop scene's Fallacy.like I said, a dream team.

while I continue not having words strong enough to convey my love and respect for boots riley's deepest humanity, lyrical talent and political views and actions, the coup reveal the first single from Sorry to Bother You. the album comes six long years after the brilliant Pick a Bigger Weapon and is promissing to be as radically different to everything else you might hear, unapologetically honest and lyrically genius as all the previous ones.

My faith in boots and anything and everything he touches or thinks up is unshakeable so I can't really tell if it is as dope as I think it is... I'm clapping all the way dontchano. metaphorically speaking

the coup are going to promote this one! they are going on tour and need a bus, help.

they also mentioned a while ago they were up for a european tour and looking for promoters over here, I wonder how that's going...I have a dream............
